“Arise, My Love” is Christy Sawyer’s third published work. In addition to writing, Christy is also the founder and director of River Dwellers Ministries in Fort Myers, Florida. Her ministry began with a mandate to see lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. After teaching what was supposed to be a six-week series on the Holy Spirit (that actually lasted an entire year!), people began to experience a “ground-swell” and were hungry for MORE. There was an overflow of “rivers of living water” (John 7:38). From that “revival,” River Dwellers Ministries was birthed. This ministry draws women of all ages, cultures, denominations, and backgrounds each week where they are “launched” into their callings. We cling to the promise that “where the River flows, EVERYTHING will live” (Ezekiel 47:9). With a ministry described by many as Apostolic, God has gifted Christy as a visionary calling forth and “stirring up the gifts” in the lives of those she leads. Christy is a sought-after international speaker and teacher for worship services, conferences, retreats, and even corporate events. Using her unique, direct, relatable and transparent style of speaking, her driving desire is to point the world to Jesus and empower men and women to walk in and fulfill their God-given destinies.
